“Post Organic Expedition” is a fictional computer animation set in an unknown future and on an unidentified planet. Some plants sent on an expedition to an exoplanet are isolated from both the atmosphere and the planet they came from by a life support system. Like the Soviet cosmonaut dog Laika and many others. The mission of these “missionary” plants living in the diaspora is to invade the atmosphere and make it more suitable for human life when they find the right conditions. Now, these plants have become post-organic beings due to the elimination of not only their Bios but also their Zoe.

Overseas exploration and biocolonialism in historical context are the starting points of this project. The aim of this project is to initiate critical reflection and debate on potential invasions and the principles of exploration.
